Chipping Sodbury is a market town in the county of South Gloucestershire in south-west England. Chipping Sodbury has a population of just over 5000 residents but over the last decade the town has become part of a much larger area due to the expansion of the nearby Yate. The town hosts a farmers market twice a month on the second and fourth Saturdays.
To the east of the town is the Chipping Sudbury Tunnel a railway tunnel that goes under part of the Cotswolds, it has a tendency to flood in wet weather bringing delays to the main railway line to and from South Wales.
