Oldham Mobi-tyre
Oldham is one of the largest towns in Greater Manchester. Situated amid the Pennines between the rivers Irk and Medlack. The town rose to prominence in the 19th century and became a boomtown for the textile industry during the Industrial Revolution.
Oldham is now more reliant on home shopping, publishing, healthcare and food processing, and has one of the biggest food processing centres in the North West. It can also claim to be the birthplace of the first chip shop.
