Irvine Mobi-tyre
Irvine is a new town on the coast of the Firth of Clyde in North Ayrshire. with nearly 38,000 inhabitants it is the biggest settlement in North Ayrshire. The town enjoys a vibrant atmosphere and has an active Burns Club. It is situated in low lying Ayrshire overlooking the Irvine Bay on the Firth of Clyde.
Irvine harbour has a long and distinguished history, as it refitted the cunard liner Queen Elizabeth II. It was once one of the most prominant ports in Scotland behind neighbouring Glasgow. Today Irvine hosts part of the Scottish Maritime Museum, the headquarters of North Ayrshire Council and Ardagh Rockware Glass.
