Gillingham is a town of Medway in the South East of England, part of the ceremonial county of Kent.
The town is home to Gillingham FC, who play at the Priestfield Stadium. The area has a sub-regional sports centre in Medway Park, and it has 3 indoor pools purpose built pools for diving, swimming and scuba.
Funding was secured for the centre under the Olympic vision and it boasts sports hall, squash courts and a jumper centre for budding trampolinists. The Medway Park Leisure Centre hosted the Modern Pentathlon World Cup back in 2010
